Telisha "Teli" Fedele brings a dynamic blend of educational expertise and workforce innovation to her role as Regional Director of Workforce Innovation, a collaboration between LCEDG and the Greater Burlington Partnership. Formerly a public educator with over a decade of experience, Teli has a deep understanding of talent development and community building. Her passion for retaining young talent and attracting new and returning professionals to Southeast Iowa drives her commitment to fostering vibrant communities and robust local economies. With a proven track record in leadership and program development, Teli is dedicated to expanding workforce initiatives that create opportunities for individuals and businesses alike.

As the Regional Director of Workforce Innovation, Teli Fedele drives economic growth and community prosperity across Des Moines and Lee Counties. She collaborates with businesses, educators, and community leaders to address workforce challenges, expand talent development programs, and support entrepreneurship. Rebecca “Becky” Newton brings over 12 years of experience in customer service, clerical, administrative, and hospitality roles, along with a 12-year military career. She is a Workforce and Community Specialist, responsible for connecting individuals with meaningful employment opportunities, addressing community needs, and fostering inclusive economic growth.
Role Overview:
Becky focuses on developing, implementing, and managing workforce development programs that align with local economic goals and empower individuals in the labor market. She also connects businesses to education by offering workforce programming in schools and helping develop the emerging workforce in Lee County.

About Hailey:
Hailey Turner is a dynamic professional dedicated to supporting the operations and communication efforts of Lee County Economic Development Group. A Lee County Native, and recent WIU grad, Hailey plays a pivotal role in keeping the organization’s daily operations running smoothly while amplifying its impact through strategic communications and marketing initiatives.
Role Overview:
Hailey manages the internal operations of LCEDG, oversees external communications, and provides key support to the leadership team. From organizing events to maintaining the CRM database, she ensures the organization’s goals are met efficiently and effectively while enhancing its visibility and outreach.
